With the interior design selections made, we then hire a team to take care of any demolition necessary. Throughout this process, we will keep in mind your budget and price out the entire project including labor, materials, anything that will act as a cost to you; so you are aware of the costs from the beginning.

We are very organized and create a timeline that we plan to stick to as much as possible, to ensure our clients know when their space will be completed. Let us take the hassle and confusion out of remodeling a space, by acting as both your designer, and contractor.

Design-only situations are special in that a general contractor or architect has already been hired and the basic idea of what is going to be done to the space has already been planned. However, the client needs a firm like EmV Design Build to help with the design of the space, color, and the desired interior environment. In these situations, we would come into the job and have a one on one meeting with the potential client to obtain an understanding of their exact vision for the space is, and plan with them how it can be achieved.

As the interior designer brought into the project, I would help manage the product choices that will fit within the general contractor/architect’s price parameters, while keeping the client from feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of choices available. This allows for the client to trust that their vision is being brought to life, while giving the general contractor/architect peace of mind in knowing that the price limitations are being followed, and the space/color/environment planning will be managed successfully.

In Construction-only situations, an interior design firm or client already has a plan for the general products being used to create the desired environment. However, they need a general contractor, like EmV Design Build, to execute the plans from demolition, to new construction, to all the required plumbing and electrical work in order to give the client the space of their dreams.

In these situations, we will come in and view the design plans of the interior designer or client in order to fully understand what they wish to achieve with the space. We will then create a budget and approximate how much the total cost of the project will be. From there, with our client’s approval, construction will start and the project will be in “full-swing”. This will give our client the confidence and assurance knowing that the project will be fully completed with the previously chosen products and materials, at the disclosed budget.
